            Hi friends, today I will share one different and desi old recipe Thotakura mamidikaya pappu / Amaranth leaves raw mango dal recipe.... I will share one of the recipe Amaranth dal in my blog, this is 2nd one.. In first dal recipe prepared with tamarind now in this dal am not using tamarind am use only mango its taste is so different and tangy taste... One special in this recipe is if you have mud pot try this recipe in that the taste will be yummy...... My grand mother will prepare this recipe in mud pot only she is a great chef... Off course my me also ;) My grand mother prepare so many types of chutneys / pachalu.... I will share all in soon.... Ingredients :-

  • Amaranth leaves (Thotakura) 4 bunches
  • Raw Mango 1 big size
  • Tomatoes 3 medium size
  • Onions 2 medium size
  • Green chilies 10 (as u like spicy)
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Urad dal 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Hing powder pinch
  • Red chilies 2
  • Curry leaves

Preparation :-


  1. First take amaranth leaves (thotakura) cut it small pieces and clean it then add to cooker, then add chopped onions, chopped mango, chopped green chilies, chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder and then close with lid and cook it for 4 whistle, then switch off the gas and cool it for........

  2. When cooker is cool then open then lid,  then add salt to taste and mash it..... Now take a wok add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped red chilies, hing, fenugreek seeds to fry...... Then add mashed dal and mix it well... And boil it for 3 minutes in low flame.....

  3. After 3 minutes mix it well for then move it to a serving boil........

         Hi friends Sunday special recipe Prawns Semi Gravy recipe... In my blogg I will share so many types of gravys, fries, currys, prawn biryanis etc..., I love very mush prawns, in your coastal area's we eat and like to eat prawns and fish especially in your Nellore.... But my husband love to eat mutton and chicken, so i prepared one week chicken, one week mutton and both two weeks we eat fish and prawns..... :)... Ok lets see the prawn recipe, in this prawn is very simple to prepare and make this easy.. Spicy and taste recipe it will be serve with side dish are serve with rice also.. Its perfect to eat with flavor rices.....  Prawns are  a very good source of omega 3 fatty acids and a good cholesterol improver. Here is a simple traditional recipe..... gravy is  not a complete dry item and not too much gravy. So lets see the process to make this step by step pics here......

Ingredients :-

  • Prawns 500 grams
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Green chilies 2
  • Oil 10 tsp
  • Cinnamon stick pieces 4 to 5
  • Cloves 4 to 5
  • Black pepper seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Fennel (sompu) 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 3 tbsp
  • Dry coconut powder 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves

Preparation :-

  1. First take a wok add coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon stick fry it good smell... It came good smell then switch off the gas and cool it for... Now take a jar add this all and grind it fine powder and put it a side.....

  2. Now take a wok add 2 tsp oil to heat, then add cleaned prawns, salt, turmeric powder 1/4 tsp, red chili powder 1 tbsp and mix it well for.......

  3. Boil it for 80% only like this........
  4. Now take another pan add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add chopped onions, green chilies mix it well for...... And then add salt to taste, turmeric powder curry leaves and mix it well for.. onions will be fried soft...

  5. When onions are soft and lite brown then add ginger garlic paste mix it well for, it will be came good smell then add chopped tomatoes and mix it soft.. and put the lid and fry it for 5 minutes in medium flame..

  6. After 5 minutes, open the lid and mix it, then add red chili powder and mix it well for.... fry it for 1 minute in low flame.

  7. Now add boiled prawns mix it well (don't use water) fry it in low flame for 5 minutes... Oil will oozes out then mix it well....

  8. When oil is oozes out then add grind masala powder, coconut powder and mix it well for, and fry it for 2 minutes in low flame...... then add chopped coriander and mix it for then move it to a serving bowl...

        Hi friends, today I will share pickle Lemon Pickle... In this summer my mom (amma) prepare so many pickles like tomato pickle, mango pickle, tamarind pickle, lemon pickle, goose berry (amla / usirikaya) pickle, pandu mirapakaya pickle, etc.. My amma prepare in this summer vadiyalu, saggubiyyam vadiyalu, rice flour vadiyalu etc.., In this summer we prepare this all item's in my home... Now a days loads of branded pickles are available in market, but the pickles prepare your self with love the taste mmmmmmmhhhhhhh simple wow... Process also so easy to make this pickles..  Lemons are available in India all around the year and this lemon pickle is an easy way to store and enjoy them in our diet on a daily basis so that you can get your daily dose of Vitamin C. When you make lemon pickle this way, you need not have to wait for a month for the pickle to get ready as it gets ready in just 4 or 6 days and also there is no fear of the bitterness from the lemon skin transferring to the pickle when you store for many months. Summer is an apt time of the year to make pickles. My aunty  (my amma sister) always used to preserve lemons from her garden in a big jar so that she can make the pickle at the drop of a hat. And also she will share some more lemons gift it to relatives and friends. She send to me also so I prepared this pickle.. Ingredients :-

  • Lemons 500 grams
  • Salt / Rock salt 
  • Turmeric powder 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 5 to 6 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 2 tbsp
  • Red chilies 5 to 6
  • Oil 15 tbsp

Preparation :-

  1. First take lemons and wash it neat, then clean it with clean cloth and then put it a side.., for 30 minutes.. Then cut it small pieces like this... Then take a glass add the lemon pieces and put it a side (you can take 250 ml glass) it came 2 glass then add slat 1/2 glass to add to lemon pieces, turmeric powder also add and mix it well for.... (now check salt it will to salt when salt is low again add some salt).... 
  2. When the pieces are totally mixed like this, then move it to a virgin plastic or glass jar take then this mixture and store it for 2 days...... and leave it for...

  3. After 2 days open the lid and check it salt, it correct then mix it slowly again store for 1 day.......

  4. Next day open the lid, then add red chili powder and mix it slowly then check it spicy again close with lid and leave it for 1 more day.......

  5. Next day morning open the lid and mix it once's, then take a wok add oil to heat when oil is heated then add mustard seeds and red chili pieces and fry it for.. When the chilies are fried then switch off the gas and cool it for...

  6. When oil is totally cool then add this oil into lemon pickle and mix it... and serve this..... Its complete...

How to Prepare Andhra Style Spicy Egg Curry Recipe

        Hi friends, today recipe is one different and desi style Andhra recipe Egg Curry (Kodi Guddu Pulusu).. This recipe my grand mother's recipe he prepare so many types of gravy's/curry's like (colacasia / yam) chamagada, lady's finger, brinjal, cucumber like so many... This egg curry is so spicy and tangy recipe,  curry / pulusu in andhra means thick gravy curry cooked with tamarind, tomatoes and onions. With quite a few ingredients in hand this dish is easy and quick to prepare. And also you can add this egg curry lady finger, brinjal  it great suitable for egg's.. But today am use only eggs but sure I will share that type recipe also (lady finger and egg) here... Lets see the process to make this recipe.......:)

Ingredients :-

  • Eggs  3
  • Onions 2 big
  • Tomatoes 3 medium
  • Tamarind 1 big lemon size (soak it for soft)
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Oil 8 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves
Preparation :-

  1. First take a cooking bowl add water and add eggs and boil it for... When eggs are boiled then move it to a plate and cool it for.. Eggs are cool then remove shells and put a side.. Now take a pan add oil 5 tsp to heat, then add eggs fry it for brown color then move it to a plate and put it a side...

  2. In same pan add oil and heat it, then add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds to fry, then add chopped onions, salt, turmeric powder and mix it well... And fry it for lite brown color (onions are totally soft)....

When onions are fried then add tomatoes, curry leaves, red chili powder and mix it well and fry it for 30 sec, then add tamarind water (tamarind soak it in water and mash it then add water 1, 1/2 glass it means 250 ml).... One boil came then add fried eggs mix it then close it with lid and boil it for thick.....

  4. When gravy is thick like this then switch off the gas and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, then move it to a serving bowl and serve it........

     Hi friends, today rice item Veg Fried rice with Kasuri methi or pulav... I prepared so many types of rice like briyani's, pulav, etc.., I prepared this rice with olive oil and kasuri methi it taste is so different and spicy mouth watering item.. My husband love it so much, he loves different types of rices.. So I prepared this tasty and delicious recipe, this is my own idea rice recipe.. I share to my loving friends..... :). I use in this rice item aloo, and carrot and also am use in this rice is must add coconut milk (friends you must use coconut milk is compulsory the taste is so different don't use only water...) So friends lets see the process to make this rice item step by step pics here.. So lets move to the process.......

Ingredients :-

  • Potatoes 100 grams
  • Carrots 100 grams
  • Onions 3 
  • Tomatoes 2 medium
  • Green chilies 4 to 5
  • Olive oil 10 tbsp
  • Star anise 2
  • Cardamom 3
  • Cinnamon stick pieces 4
  • Bay leaf 2
  • cloves 4
  • Marati moggu (Capers) 1
  • Cashew nuts 15 or 1/2 cup
  • Shajeera (caraway) 1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi 4 tbsp
  • Basmathi rice 250 grams (2 cups)
  • Mint leaves 
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste (in this am using rock salt its taste also so different) 
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp (crush)
  • Coconut milk 1, 1/2 cup
  • Red Chili powder 1/2 tsp

  1. First take a wok add olive oil to heat, then add star anise, cardamoms, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, marati moggu to fry, then add cashew nuts, shajeera to fry... Now add crush kasuri methi, finely chopped onions, chopped green chilies, mint leaves and mix it well....

  2. Onions are fried lite brown color then add turmeric powder, rock salt again mix it and fry it for 5 minutes..... Then add chopped potatoes, carrots mix it well then close it with lid and fry for 5 minutes in low flame.....

  3. After 5 minutes open the lid mix it well, then add ginger garlic paste and mix it again then close it with lid again fry it for 2 minutes more..

  4. Now open the lid mix it, add chili powder again mix it.. Now add coconut milk, water 1/2 cup mix it well and boil it for....... When water is boiled then add socked rice mix it well then close it with lid and boil it for 30%.... 
  5. When the rice is boiled 30% then add chopped tomatoes, mix it then close with lid and boil it for..... When the rice is boiled then open then lid mix it slowly then switch off the gas and live it for 5 minutes..... Then serve it.......

Now the veg rice is ready to serve..... Its so spicy and delicious rice item... Its prefect to serve lunch box also...   2. Now take a wok add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add cumin seeds, mustard seeds to fry then add curry leaves to fry.. Then add boiled beans and fry it for 2 minutes in low flame......
  3. Take a jar add bengal gram roasted, red chilies, garlic cloves, coriander seeds, dry coconut pieces, salt and grind it fine powder like this.. When beans are little roast then add grind coconut powder and mix it well for it for 1 minute in low flame....
  4. Fry it for 1 minute then switch off the gas move, it to a serving bowl .........
